Los Angeles -- Fresh Fear has released Quentin Lee and John Hahn's graphic novel Campus Ghost Story on print. The graphic novel is currently being released on-line by Netcomics (http://www.netcomics.com).Dubbed as a "venturesome writer-director" by the Los Angeles Times and a "highly talented creator" by Filmthreat, Quentin Lee has teamed up with artist John Hahn to create their first chilling graphic novel, Campus Ghost Story, a supernatural thriller set on a college campus where three students' fates are intertwined after a mysterious young woman jumps off the school's clock tower. Imagine The Sixth Sense meets Pulp Fiction.
A genre enthusiast since childhood, filmmaker Quentin Lee approached upcoming artist friend John Hahn, who has done sensational work for Dungeon and Dragons' miniseries "In the Shadow of Dragons" and created the comic strip "Electric City," to work on Campus Ghost Story together.
Blending genre mythology from Asian horror to 80s' splatter, Campus puts a fresh spin on ghost stories against the psychological backdrop of college life. "As much as Campus Ghost Story is a fun and sexy horror fantasy, the heart of it is about how young adults construct their identity and fear against issues of race, gender and sexuality," said Lee.
